Nearing the End
The museum is due in about a week. The last few days, I have been focusing on the lighting of the museum and trying to make it as presentable as possible with what we have. The museum is functional on a basic level. It is able to load between different scenes and contains multiple student projects. Over the next week we will finish the scripts for dynamic FOV – a way to hopefully minimize motion sickness – and add an elevator mechanic so people can simply choose the floor they want to go to without needing to walk.
I managed to complete most of the models and textures I needed for the interior of the museum and I have a few more I’m almost done with that will be added over the next week. I won’t get everything done but it’s as close to complete as I can get it to be.
I’m going to keep working on it for the next week and hopefully, I can get the project to a place I’m happy with by the time I have to install it for the Gallatin Arts Festival.
