Museum Interior Progress

The last few weeks I’ve been working on the interior for the museum. After planning for a few days, I made a blockout of the interior and made a lighting test.

I’m pretty happy with the way it’s come out so far but the space feels a bit too empty and static. The walkways connecting the two sides of the upper floors somewhat block the centerpiece of the interior, the large tree. I think I might create a moving walkway instead of having the bridges. This might create some active movement in the scene.

There’s a lot of work left to be done. I will need to replace almost everything in the scene and find a way to create volumetric light effects that would work in VR without too much impact on performance.
