As we emerge from the experiences from the past few years, I think that we have learned (or re-discovered) the value of human connection. There is a renewed interest in supporting those connections better. You can see that interest represented everywhere: definitely in the flood of research coming from academia and industry. Collectively, we are continuously rethinking the role technology plays in human-human interactions.
As for this group:
New projects. New and old people. In the near-term as we renovate the site, we will have updates on all of this. I think that members already have a lot to say.
For a preview, some of the things that we continue to explore include, but are not limited to:
- Asymmetric Interfaces and Interactions
- Interfaces for Ideation, Visualization, and Play
- Tangible Interfaces
- Use Cases for Virtual and Augmented Reality
- Sketching
- Health and Wellbeing
- Teaching
